Purchase and commissioning of a train of carriages for internal transport
Project description
The project involved purchasing and commissioning a train of carriages for internal transport inside a factory area, where the goods and the packaging are not subjected to the weather. All electronics in the train of carriages was to be controlled wirelessly from the truck and the train of carriages was to be equipped with its own supply of energy for lighting, brakes, a camera and a roll-up door.
The process
A project manager from Process Engineering was responsible for the project economy, the scope of delivery, the time schedule, reception of goods, inspection, test, control, safety coordination, documentation and CE marking.
The project was separated into the areas fundamental design, machine construction and transport equipment.
The project manager from Process Engineering referred to the customer’s key people.
