Project description
The assignment was to replace an existing NH3 refrigeration plant with a new, central glycol refrigeration system. The new system was to be put into operation while the system was still supplying production with cooling.
In addition, there was a desire to cover a single production with a decentralised NH3 refrigeration plant with a lower temperature than the glycol refrigeration system can handle. This was to be installed in a separate engine room with mechanical ventilation.
The process
Process Engineering’s project manager handled the project economy, the scope of delivery, the time schedule, purchasing, reception of goods, inspection, test, control, safety coordination, documentation, CE marking and coordination of environmental issues.
The project was separated into the areas process, electricity and automation, civil/building, process equipment and the environment.
The project manager from process Engineering reported to the customer’s key people.
